NEW CHAIR FOR TTNL BOARD

By ANZ Championship

The Board of TTNL  (Trans Tasman Netball League) has appointed current TTNL Board member Raewyn Lovett  as the new chair of ANZ Championship  for next two years.

Noeleen Dix has filled the role since the inception of the competition, and during this time the ANZ Championship has experienced significant growth from Year One to Year Two.

The TTNL constitution calls for a change of Chair after a term of two years. Lovett was appointed unanimously by the TTNL Board  with the appointment effective immediately.

Lovett says she is looking forward to working with the TTNL Board in this new role.

“The ANZ Championship has been a great success in its initial two years, and I wish to acknowledge the outstanding leadership that Noeleen Dix showed in her role as TTNL Chair during this time.  I look forward to the opportunity to continue on the path of growth that the ANZ Championship has experienced, in what is a very exciting time for the sport of netball,” she said.

Raewyn Lovett is the current NNZ Board Chair, and a lawyer specialising in commercial, corporate and employment law in Auckland. She is a partner and past Chair of New Zealand law firm Duncan Cotterill and is currently a member of the firm’s Board.  She has also served as an independent director with several other organisations.
